Village ACE Hardware Website

The main objective of this project was to create a website that effectively connects local customers with the many services offered by Village ACE Hardware. Additionally, the website aimed to assist customers in finding the products they need, enhancing their overall shopping experience. We wanted to ensure that the site was user-friendly, visually appealing, and comprehensive in showcasing the store’s diverse offerings.

To achieve this, we utilized a combination of WordPress, HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. These technologies allowed us to build and manage the website efficiently while also designing and editing visual content to create an engaging user experience. The website featured seasonal promotional sliders to highlight current and seasonal offers, as well as detailed service and product information, easy-to-use contact forms, online service scheduling, and a section for job applicants to submit their applications online. User experience design was a key focus, ensuring intuitive navigation and ease of use for visitors.

A significant challenge was representing the business’s multiple divisions: Village ACE Hardware, Village Paint & Design, and Village Outdoor Living. Synthesizing these three divisions into a cohesive website while effectively connecting customers with the extensive selection of services and products required careful planning and execution. We had to ensure that each division was clearly represented yet seamlessly integrated into the overall website structure.

The outcome was a robust and easy-to-navigate website that successfully drives customer leads and positions Village ACE Hardware as an expert in the area. The new website provides customers with a comprehensive view of the services and products available. This project significantly enhanced the company’s online presence and improved their ability to serve local customers.
